Requires HTTPS or localhost: the crypto API is unavailable on plain HTTP pages.

HMAC-MD5 is not offered: the browser crypto API does not support MD5, and hand-rolling one just for legacy endpoints carries more risk of a wrong result than it is worth. Use a server-side tool if upstream demands MD5.
